An Academic Satsang was held at Mar Theophilus Training College, Nalanchira, on 9 February 2026, featuring Zachariah Mathew, Ph.D., Director, Center for Global Engagement and Senior International Officer, University of Michigan-Flint. Dr. Mathew visited the college and interacted with the students and  teachers during the Educational Satsang, where he shared insights into best practices in higher education in the United States. He highlighted student-centred teaching strategies, the importance of 21st-century skills, and skill development as key drivers of excellence in the global job market, while also outlining opportunities available for teachers in the USA. The session was enriched by an address from Joju John, Principal of the college, who emphasised innovative practices, creativity, and the effective use of technology as key pillars for success in the AI era. The interaction was highly informative and served as a strong source of motivation for the aspiring educators.
